Cooblades at instructables.com made this great working LEGO tape dispenser out of LEGO pieces. Everything is from that little bricks, even it cuts the tape using a piece of Lego.
Check out the video that explains how it works:
Do you have a favourite Star War minifig? If you have, now you can craft it out of paper...just like origami ;)

Legend says that the children of George Lucas, big LEGO fans, requested the Star Wars LEGO license. Legend also states that Lucas defers to his children's judgement on the suitability of these licensed sets, as well as their adherance to LucasArts standards.

If you too lazy to fold toilet paper manually while you are sitting on the toilet, I have found something that will solve you this problem. It's a Toilet Paper Folder prototype made out LEGOs by some guys at the UC Berkeley School.
Here is what they wrote about their work:Its made of lego mindstorms, scissors, and some scrap metal. With all things considered, I think it turned out alright. Not only does it fold your paper for you, it also cuts it. It would be the perfect accessory for a fancy, high-tech, Japanese bathroom!
Spice up your computer with this big LEGO brick. It's not an ordinary LEGO brick, it's a special one!
It includes a 300GB 7200RPM drive and a high-speed USB interface. If you have more than one, then you can stack them just like the real Legos. It's available in red, blue and white. Perfect solution for Lego Maniacs ;)...[Link]
What do you get when you put together these twelve pieces?
Of course, a Jar-Jar Sphinx. It was easy to guess, am I wright?

It began with wooden toys...
In the early 1930s the world was in the grip of an economic depression. Ole Kirk Christiansen (Founder) felt its effects in his carpentry business – there was less and less work for him as house building stagnated. He looked around for other ways of earning a living. One was to make wooden toys – the year was 1932, and his toy business had started.
And the storie with the little bricks started ;) This year - on August 10 - the LEGO Company is celebrating his 75th birthday. (You can read the official press release about it here)
